New poem in Michigan Quarterly Review: “Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi”

Hey! I have a new published poem, in the latest issue of Michigan Quarterly Review, inspired by the “Fountain of the Four Rivers” at Piazza Navona in Rome.

The fountain was designed in 1651 by Gian Lorenzo Bernini for Pope Innocent X: a monument to a man and a memory that made me think about how we — any of us — will be remembered.

Read the poem here.
